• Pitched for American Legion Post 82 in 1966 - Tennessee State Champions, Southeast Regional Champions, represented Tennessee in the American Legion World Series
• Athletic Scholarship for basketball and baseball to Belmont University
• Drafted in the 2nd round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1969
• Played 7 years of professional baseball - 4 seasons in the Major Leagues
• Milwaukee Brewers Rookie Pitcher of the Year - 1972
• Elected to the Belmont University Athletic Hall of Fame - 1992
• Over 30 years of baseball coaching experience
• Board of Directors of the Old Timers Baseball Association
• State Baseball Director for American Legion Baseball in Tennessee with an affiliation to USA Baseball.
• Owner and general manager of Diamond Athletics Group
